அப்பாவிப் தமிழ்மக்கள் கொல்லப்படுவதை அனுமதிக்க முடியாது.
1. ஆழ ஊடுருவும் அணித்;தாக்குதல் மூலம் 23-05-3008 அன்று கிளிநொச்சி முறிகண்டிப் பகுதியில் 16 அப்பாவி;ப் தமிழ்மக்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டமை.
2. அதே தினம் வடமாராட்சி கிழக்கு சுண்டிக்குளம் பகுதியில் விமானக் குண்டு வீச்சு மூலம் இரு சிறுமிகள் கொல்லப்பட்டமை,
3. ஆழ ஊடுருவும் அணித்தாக்குதல் மூலம் 02-06-2008 அன்று கரிப்பட்டமுறிப்பு, மாங்குளம் பகுதியில் 06 அப்பாவிப் தமிழ் மக்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டமை,
4. அழ ஊடுருவும் அணித் தாக்குதல் மூலம் 05-06-2008 அன்று மூன்றுமுறிப்பு பாலப்பாணிப் பகுதியில் இரண்டு அப்பாவிப் தமிழ் மக்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டமை,
ஆகிய தாக்குதல்களிற்குப் பதிலடியாகவே போக்குவரத்து ஊர்திகள் மீதான குண்டுத் தாக்குதல்களும், பிற தாக்குதல் முயற்சிகளும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது என்பதை “எல்லாளன் படை” தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றது.
போக்குவரத்து ஊர்திகளில் பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளை அரசாங்கம் செய்துள்ள போதும் “எல்லாளன் படை”யின் “பழிவாங்கும் குண்டு” வெடித்துள்ளது.
குண்டு வெடிப்புக்களைத் தவிர்ப்பதற்கு மக்கள் பாதுகாப்பு குழுக்களை அமைப்பதும், வேறு பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளைச் செய்வதும் தீர்வாகாது. தமிழ் மக்களின் போக்குவரத்து ஊர்திகள் மீதான ஆழ ஊடுருவும் அணியின் தாக்குதல்கள் நிறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். யுத்த விமானங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி தமிழ் மக்கள் கொல்லப்படுவதும் நிறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.

We the “Ellalan Force” won’t allow the killings of innocent Tamil civilians anymore.
We want to claim that we are responsible for the bomb attacks on the transport vehicles and other attacks as stern replies to the following LRRP attacks and aeriel bombings of the Sri Lankan Govt and its Forces.
1. The LRRP attack at Kilinochchi – Murukandy area on 23-05-2008, where 16 innocent Tamils were killed.
2. The Air Force bombing on the sameday at Chundikkulam where two female children were killed.
3. The LRRP attack at Karippaddamurippu, Mankulam area, on 02-06-2008, where 6 innocent Tamils were killed.
4. Another LRRP attack at Moontrumurippu, Palappani area on 05-06-2008, where 2 innocent Tamil civilians were killed.
In spite of the heavy security arrangements made by Govt, the bombs of the “Ellalan Force” blast on the transport vehicles.
Origanizing peoples vigilence groups and other security arrangements never bring any solution to avoid the bomb attacks.
The LRRP attacks and the aeriel bombings on Tamil innocent civilians must stop. That is the only way to solve the above problem.
The Sinhalese must understant situation clearly and think about why the “Ellalan Force” continue their attacks.
So, the “Ellalan Force” asked the Sinhala civilians to put pressure on the Govt to stop the LRRP attacks that target the innocent Tamils.

3 times LTTE bombed Dehiwala Station which is next to Wellawata where 98% are Tamils. It clearly shows the bombs are meant for Singhalese. WHAT IF, someone plant a bomb in Wellawattha and kill scores of innocent Tamils ?. In the future there will not be a communal riot like 1983, but soon the tamils living in Colombo may have to bare the brunt edge. The Tamils do have a moral obligation to this LTTE attricities.

Dame sure, Tigers are fighting militarily against a Military for their goal. Even a couple of months before Tigers released a press report stating that they have nothing to do with such mishaps. Just few days back Nadesan, Political Head of Tigers confirmed the same and criticized such acts of targeting innocent civilians.

I am not in favour of killing civilians, but I can understand why Ellalan Padai is carying out these bombings.
I am glad that Ellalan padai came to the surface to claim responsibility and actually spelt out exactly why they did this; ie: retaliation to DPU attacks.
Its now in the GOSL to decide whether they want to carry on using the DPU to kill innocent tamil civilians or not.

It is sad that you glorified killing regardless of their ethnic background. Most of us comfortably living in Western countries do not feel the pain of poor people suffering from both sides due to this war. During 1983 people who looted and destroyed Tamil houses were not educated bunch which I am ashamed as a Sinhalese, but most Tamils seem to have forgotten that lot of Sinhala families protect them during this time. I can write this because my mother who was a single parent at that time helped the neighbour and kept their valuables and we did not allow harming any member of the family and the house was not touched by thugs.
As a parent with a 20 year old daughter it is heartbreaking to read stories of LTTE child solders and read their suffering (see below), and I do not how do you feel if it was your sister or a daughter?

You can use vulgar words to attack Sinhalese but at the end of the day poor people who suffers from both sides (neither the rich nor the politicians) because they need public transport for their day to day life. As you all aware there were innocent Tamils along with Sinhalese died due to suicide attacks and indiscriminate bombings, therefore do you think this is the answer to your cause. I strongly believe that repeat of 1983 riots will not happened again but because we learnt a big lesson from it. Currently Tamils and Sinhalese live in harmony in many parts of Sri Lanka and I hope that everybody will be able to live peacefully in the coming months.

The Sinhalese governments are not in any way, shape or form exonerated of all crimes. But we all realize this war has to end. You as well as the Sinhalese by now know it's not ending by guns, bullets and bombs.

Im an innocent Muslim who grew up with the war in Kandy. Had friends who were Sinhalese, Muslim and Tamil including Murali, our hero. I have left Sri Lanka and probably not come back for a long time. Hence have no real effect of the war anymore. Just sad to imagine the plight of the kids growing up in Sri Lanka and their future there.
Two wrongs do not make a right. Probably right. Probably wrong. But how many of us like to show the other cheek nowadays? None. Because we know that if we do we will get another slap.
The fact of the matter is that innocent Tamils deliberately get killed by Sinhalese armed forces in the North and East. And the majority Sinhalese overlook. Some even enjoy it. This very act of condoning These killings make them party to the crime.
Before 1983 Tamils received whatever the Sinhalese gave them. After 1983, - unfortunately for Sinhalese and fortunately for others – Tamils started paying back. At times interest included.

iCosAlpha .. I agree that no one should ALWAYS turn the other cheek. In fact that’s what Islam has taught me . The fact is that for quarter of a century, Tamils, Sinhalese and the whole population has suffered. No educated Tamil is left nor there is any opportunity for the ones who want to progress, specially amongst the poorer Tamils. I’ve lived in UK, USA and Australia for the past decade. No Tamil kid I know who has got the education overseas is planning to come back to build a country from war. They are all happy and settled with their careers and families just like I am.
Most educated Sinhalese and Muslims have migrated as well draining the country of current and future brain and resources.
But after 25 years I think every body knows and have felt the pangs of war. No one (apart from the very few who profit from it and the very few who will always remain racists and rant about it) would want to go back into war. In my experience, the average Sinhalese as well as Tamil person in the south only want a peaceful life and are far from wanting to kill each other. For many in the south, 25 years of slapping is more than enough slapping back. And slapping you have done very well. Every man, woman and child in the south regardless of race or religion has felt the slap one way or the other for these 25 years. My family and I have migrated because of the slapping. I have class mates dead in the defence forces. Even last weeks Polgolla bomb claimed a distant Muslim relative of mine. That is more than one slap for me. LTTE is slapping back everyone in the south regardless. I think highlighting any wrongdoings of the Defence forces/GSOL in the north will have a better effect and sympathy for you in the south than a blanket slap on them all. LTTE should also recognize that there are decent humans within the Sinhalese and Muslims who have protected the Tamils during the 83 riots and will do so in future as well. There are also many who even now talk about the wrong doings of the Army/GSOL if and when it happens. Such as the rapes and bombing highlighted in comments above. No majority and certainly none of the poor passengers in those trains/busses would rejoice or condone if they knew about things that are happening in the north.
Put your self in the shoes of a average southern citizen when you talk and before taking action. Don’t you think this is enough slapping back ? Isn’t it time to pass on a future for the kids and write it in history, a lesson, that no one has to ALWAYS turn the other cheek? HOW LONG MORE THAN A 25 YEAR SLAPPING IS NEEDED AND IS THAT WORTH ALL TAMIL, SINHALA, MUSLIM CHILDREN’S FUTURE?
There must be a way for Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims to put all this effort and money spent on this destruction towards houses, schools, computers, hospitals and roads.
